The official release of the full Peaky Blinders soundtrack is now available to listen to.
The double CD and triple LP sets feature the likes of The White Stripes, Johnny Cash, Anna Calvi, Radiohead and of course the iconic ‘Red Right Hand’ by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds.
The album also includes key clips of dialogue from all five series the show and the CD version includes an exclusive 32-page book with images, behind the scenes features and quotes from the cast.
Anyone who loves the series knows how integral the music is to the show. Creator Steven Knight says: “It would be difficult to imagine most of the pivotal moments without the soundtrack.”
Speaking about the release of the official soundtrack, he added: “I’m so glad that at last we have been able to put some of the tracks together on one album, to put the atmosphere and swagger and snarl of the show into your headphones and speakers.”
For the first time PJ Harvey’s cover of the theme tune is available.
Also featuring on the album are Arctic Monkeys, Royal Blood, The Last Shadow Puppets, Queens of the Stone Age, Black Sabbath, David Bowie, Laura Marling, and Foals. The release comes with Jehnny Beth’s ‘I’m The Man‘ and Anna Calvi’s series five score ‘You’re Not God‘, along with PJ Harvey’s beautiful cover of Red Right Hand, made available for the first time.
